Improve service, BPJS Launch System "Fingerprint"

Social Security Agency (BPJS) Health inaugurated finger print applications to improve health care services for participants BPJS. Targeted, this year BPJS participants are able to use the technology tools. 

"This service is to facilitate services for participants admisnistrasi BPJS hospital," said Director of BPJS Fachmi Idris, during the opening inauguration of finger print services, in building BPJS, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/14/2014). 

The inauguration of the finger print service was officially opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. In the inauguration, the President was accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Minister of Health Nafsiah Mboi, and Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono. 

"Application of IT (information technology) is very important, we soon enter Indonesia open society, then right BPJS using advances in technology, to be more precise and improve services. BPJS to be the better, affordable, easy, and fast," said Yudhoyono, while providing a short speech in the House BPJS. 

Some advantages of the use of finger print, according Fachmi, among which will facilitate and accelerate the process of patient administration at hospital admission counter. BPJS Patients will no longer need to carry the card when the participants want treatment. Patients simply put fingerprints on the device, and patient data will be automatically listed in the computer. 

For information, finger print services will be connected automatically with identity data BPJS participants. To that end, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs BPJS in connecting the e-ID card and finger print applications. 

Although the tool is targeted to be used in this year, the General Manager of Strategic Planning and Development IT BPJS Siswandi said, BPJS still awaiting certification by the Ministry of Industry gave the finger print tool maker. 

"We are still testing. Should be a permission from the Ministry of Industry of the manufacturers who make the tools," said Siswandi.
