Mark Zuckerberg Suggest Students Learn Technology

Mark Zuckerberg Ice Bucket Challenge - 2

The use of technology and its products is no longer a stranger. Recognizing this trend, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, advised the students to learn the basic knowledge about the technology.

Zuckerberg expressed his opinion that during a visit to Sequoia High School in Redwood City, California, United States (USA). He told the students that if you want to have security in the work, then they have to learn the technology in certain things.

During his visit, a student named Rosie Valencia Sequoia asked about the reason Zuckerberg thinks that technology is important to the students.

"The simple answer is because all work will be related to technology in the future," said Zuckerberg, as reported by Business Insider, Tuesday (09/23/2014).

Currently, Zuckerberg said, students may get the impression that the world will remain the same as they grow older. But it is actually not true because the world will evolve over time. So also with the work.

"If you want to get a good job and get a job with higher pay, then you should be proficient in technology, such as using a computer and basic programs," said Zuckerberg.

In fact, he continued, technological knowledge remains a very important thing, though it does not work in the field of technology. "It's important to have a lot of options and do what you want to do in the future," said Mark Zuckerberg.
