PT Mazda Indonesia launched the All-New Mazda2 as the latest city car which adopted the best features sixth generation of Mazda cars. All-New Mazda2 is an evolution of the Mazda2 is equipped with three key elements of the Mazda, the SKYACTIV tecnology, Kodo Soul of Motion Design, and I Activesense.
"Mazda understand that the essence of driving is not only centered on movement from one point to another. Yet how DAPT driver berkendaranya enjoy the experience," said Keizo Okue, President Director of PT Mazda Motor Indonesia, told reporters in Indonesia International Motor Show, Jakarta, on 20 September 2014.
All-New Mazda2 offers two types of six-speed transmissions, the SKYACTIV-MT manual transmission and automatic transmission SKYACTIV-drive. In addition to offering two types of transmission, the All-New Mazda2 also adopted the i-stop feature (idling stop system). With this technology, when the car is idle and silent within a few seconds, the engine will automatically stop the performance. The machine will re-live otmatis when the brake pedal is released or the gas lever start trampled. "With this technology can prevent the wastage of fuel and improve fuel efficiency," said Keizo.
The plan, the All-New Mazda2 will go on sale in Indonesia around November. Mazda's compact sedan is priced at USD 225-270 million. "We are targeting sales of the All-New Mazda around 400 units per month," said Keizo.
